At this time, Old Shore Animal Clinic remains committed to continuing to provide the highest quality veterinary services. In the interest of our clients and staff, we request that any clients who are exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties refrain from coming to our clinic. We ask those who have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 to refrain from bringing their pets into the clinic as well. Please make alternate arrangements for your pet to be brought in.
If your pet is scheduled for a routine wellness visit (with or without vaccines), please consider rescheduling the appointment. There is no penalty to cancel, even on the same day.
Our staff will continue to follow all CDC recommended hygiene practices, including limiting humanto- human contact. We will continue to monitor the recent confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York and will update this information as necessary.
Until further notice, we ask that everyone remain in their cars as they wait to be seen for their appointment. Once you arrive in our parking lot, please call our office to check in and provide your cell number. We will call you when your pet is ready to be seen and a member of our staff will bring your pet into the building while you remain in the car. The doctor will speak to you over the phone.
If you need to pick up food or medications for your pet, please call and we can arrange to bring the food and/or prescriptions directly to your car. You can pay by credit card over the phone. We greatly appreciate your patience and support of our efforts at this time. We are working diligently in our efforts to protect your health as well as the health of our employees during this outbreak.
